Although the facility was built for the use of our own activity groups, the Canterbury Caledonian Society hall is available for hire, and is proving a popular venue for a wide variety of events and occasions.

Room P1.

Main Hall / Auditorium

plus raised stage area (700mm high) with 2.4m in front of curtain, and 4m behind.

Access: Internal and 3 x External

Heating: 65kw Heat Pump

Acoustic ceiling tiles, floating wood laminate flooring, LED lighting, accoustic drapes on walls, servery to kitchen.

A liift for diaabled persons is available for use on request.

Sound System

2 x wireless mics plus 3.5mm input mixer PS system available for hire.

 

Kitchen

Modern benchtop and joinery, large capacity double refridgerator, on-demand hot water, dual oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven,

14 place dishwasher.

 

General

25 x 1800x900 foldaway tables (on casters)

200 x chairs

Limited cutlery, cooking utensils, saucepans, cups and saucers.
