Canterbury Caledonian Society
The Caledonian Society holds many articles of historical interest donated or acquired over the past 100 years. These documents, books and other items form the basis of The Caledonian Collection.
We were extremely lucky to be able to recover most of the Collection following the devastating earthquake on 22nd February 2011, which destroyed the Kilmore Street property. The Directors of the Society are establishing a permanent display area for this collection of Scottish and Caledonian Society items and invite further contributions of historic value for the display.
As part of our very recent history, specifically the development of our new facility in Michelle Road, we created a separate Facebook page (see Right) to document the building process, which includes many photographs of the various stages of construction.
